What About Success!

Success is one thing that virtually every human person happens to be very familiar with. However, this familiarity is not actually based on people's personal experience of success or their relationship with it but on their academical and/or intellectual knowledge of success.

A whole lot of people desire so much to be successful in life; they hope for their ventures to always succeed but unfortunately for many of us, this just happens to end up as desires, #not reality#

A good and true entrepreneur's life is not supposed to be like that. An entrepreneur is supposed to have a personal relationship with success - He must know what success is; how success operates; what success likes or dislikes; what environments success survive in and don't survive in.

This is what this article hopes to help us achieve.

What really is Success? 

 

According to the Merriam Webster dictionary, success refers to reception of the correct or desired result of an attempt. It is also used to refer to the fact of getting or achieve wealth, respect, or fame. A lot of books and articles in journals, newsletters or magazines have been written on success and each of them presents in their own way what success could mean and how to achieve it. 

Information, an Elemental Driver of Success

Now, when we say that information is an elemental driver of success, what does it mean? When you read books or articles that tell you about success, what you are doing is gathering information about success. What you receive in return is knowledge - Knowledge about Success. The amount information you gather about success and how to apply your acquired knowledge, determines how your relationship with success is going to be and eventually whether or not your ventures will be successful. Information boosts your relationship with success in following ways:

i.         By giving you knowledge about things that are likely to happen in the near future so that you can prepare yourself for the opportunities that they will create. With this you can plan yourself awaiting that day when you will just explode into success.

ii.      By giving you the knowledge of how to manage issues, situations, people and solve problems easily such that would get people attracted to you who would not want to lose you and in fact desire to pay for you services.

iii.      By opening the eyes of your mind to opportunities right under your nose which seemed invisible but were not actually just that in ignorance, you never took notice of them.

iv.       By helping you go into yourself in successive exploration to see your God-given strengths and talents leading to a discovery of yourself and your purpose in life. In the end be able to generate ideas and extraordinarily creative concepts.

v.        By helping you to operate at the level of precision and accuracy and away from guesswork which is an instant killer of success.

vi.    By changing your attitude towards issues and situations in order to reorganize your perception of success and failure.

Ifeanyi Enoch Onuoha says, “To succeed in this day and age, all you need to be ahead of the pack is to be informed, and turn the information into transformation for your betterment and that of others”.

Steve Maraboli says, “Stop allowing your outdated ideas to hinder your progress. How would your life be different if you become open to new information that can refine, improve, enhance your way of thinking, and empower your way of living”.

Isrealmore Ayivor says, “Information had become a critical tool that you can use to raise your bar across every barrier towards excellence. Deny this fact and maintain your bar wherever it was without even a millimeter lift”.

At this point, you can clearly see that it is not everyone who desires to succeed that actually succeeds; you must be ready to pay the price for it and that is, "To gather as much information you can about success". But more than that, "You must most importantly learn how to apply your acquired knowledge about information so that you can be not just familiar with success but be really successful. The world’s greatest number of failures were and still are as a result of lack of adequate and or proper information about success, this is simply why a lot of people fail.
